“My son goes to Greenwich Public School and we come down here sometimes on the weekends and after school so he can play with his friends.
It’s great because there’s so such space for the kids to run and play and have some freedom. I’m helping my daughter learn to ride her bike today.
This is a beautiful place with the harbour and all the trees, even on a hot day like today it’s good to be here. I don’t think they should put in a synthetic field, I’ve heard that they get really hot in summer.
Bob Campbell Oval, or Gore Creek Reserve, is a little slice of heaven on Sydney Harbour. It sits at the bottom of a creek that winds up through Lane Cove and is one of the last remaining natural creeks on the harbour.
