Bob Campbell Oval has always been a shared community space for sport, recreation and dog walking. We are committed to the continued use of this oval for organised sport. During games and training, dogs are always to be strictly on leash. They can be off leash outside these times.
Susan says, “Kipper is a Novia Scotian Duck Tolling Retreiver and he has a lot of energy, so it’s great that there is so much off leash space here for him to run around. He’s been playing in the creek today, that’s why he’s so wet!
This place is my morning hangout with my friends and their dogs. It’s a great place to meet people, a real community.”
Bob Campbell Oval, or Gore Creek Reserve, is a little slice of heaven on Sydney Harbour. It sits at the bottom of a creek that winds up through Lane Cove and is one of the last remaining natural creeks on the harbour.
